Rogue Trooper®: The Quartz Zone Massacre - jos jedan PS2 port
Reef brings Rogue Trooper® to Wii
Reef Entertainment has confirmed it has agreed an exclusive deal with the UK Developer Rebellion to launch their 2000 AD character Rogue Trooper® videogame globally on Wii™.
For those who don’t know the character, Rogue Trooper® is a genetically engineered soldier of the future, and is unique in videogames as he has an distinct armoury; a rifle, helmet and backpack, which contain the ‘personalities’ of his fallen comrades, providing him the capabilities of 4 soldiers in one. A ‘biochip’ is installed within each ‘Genetic Infantryman’ or ‘GI’ from birth which then records their personalities and training upon their death. These biochips are then removed and can then be inserted within energized slots on a fellow GI’s rifle, helmet or backpack to secure them for their return to base and re-cloning.
Rogue Trooper®: The Quartz Zone Massacre is the story of how Rogue Trooper® and his comrades are betrayed by a traitor general on their first mission to an area on Nu Earth known as the Quartz Zone. Only Rogue survives, and joined by his fallen comrades within his equipment, he begins a journey across Nu Earth to find the general and unleash his revenge!
Rogue Trooper® is one of the 2000 AD’s most endearing characters. First appearing in 1981, he was created by Gerry Finlay-Day and Dave Gibbons of Watchmen fame and was intended to run only a few years, but fans continually demanded more adventures. Rogue Trooper® has also enjoyed many reincarnations as a videogame throughout the last 20 years, most recently as the critically acclaimed and BAFTA nominated 3rd person shooter on PS2, Xbox and PC.
The Wii version promises to provide even greater immersive gameplay with the unique Wii control interface where kill shots are more accurate and certainly more creative than its console forebears.
In addition, Rebellion has provided additional tweaks and polish to the overall game so ensuring the Wii version of the game is the very best yet.
Peter Rezon, CEO of Reef said; ‘Rogue Trooper®:The Quartz Zone Massacre is one of the best games Reef has been involved with, and to win this contract for the Wii version is fantastic. Were taking a hit game to a unique console where we believe the exciting elements we’ve added will make this 3rd shooter a hugely successful Wii title.’
Rogue Trooper®: The Quartz Zone Massacre will be released in Q4 2008

Speed Racer recenzije
The level/track designs are both visually appealing and add enough twists and turns to keep a player on the edge of his/her seat. I can only assume the visual style was presented to either mimic, or was inspired by, the upcoming release but things definitely looked exceptional; especially considering the speed at which the cars are moving.
Additionally, one of the first things that strikes you about the game is the environment's electric, candy-coated color scheme. The eye-catching design is also drawn from the film, and matched with the roller-coaster-from-hell track designs, it makes every stadium look like a surreal amusement park. But after that the connections get hazy. The game's set one year after the events of the movie; however, there isn't really a running narrative through the game per se to make a story all that important.
The core driving controls in Speed Racer: The Video Game are fun to play with. Even though players are restricted to motion controls only, cars handle well and generally do a pretty good job of staying in the race without too much assistance. It's just too bad the rest of the package doesn't measure up.

Boom Blox 1up recenzija
If this is the future of casual gaming, motion controls, and Wii, count me in. Boom Blox may not be the best Wii game, depending on your proclivities, but it's definitely the best use of the Wii yet. It's immensely accessible, wonderfully tactile, and stands as one of the best treatments of gaming in a 3D space

Speed Racer Wii recenzija
Best of all, though, is the fact that the whole game is motion-controlled, without even the option for analogue. We can hear the precision-obsessed, anti-Wii Wheelers whining already, but once you start jerking the remote horizontally to shunt your opponents into a wall or pulling up for a barrel roll Jack Jump turned spinning Torpedo attack by a boost, you won't miss your thumb on the stick. Hardcore racing fans may find the compensational auto-steering unnecessary, but it doesn't interfere with your inputs, and in fact, you may be glad it's there when you use a quadruple-stacked boost to enter "the zone" for invincibility and tons of extra speed.

Boom Blox Wired recenzija
Boom Blox does what so many Wii titles wish they could, by splitting the difference between casual players and lifelong gamers. You can pass the Wiimote to your grandma or a 5-year-old and they'll have a ball with its clever mix of brainy puzzles and satisfying explosions. But hard-core players like me will find a surprising amount of depth to the gameplay and a satisfying, addictive challenge.

MOnster Hunter 3 novi (ne)info
Not deliberately avoiding any questions so much as there's just no new MH3 news to share at this time. The questions fall into an exciting range of "can't tell you/don't quite make sense/don't know" :)
I can say I saw an a non-final build when I was in Osaka recently and it already looks amazing, but can't answer any of your specifics.I was impressed by every part of the game :) I would like to say more but I can feel the crosshairs from the Capcom orbital laser platform targeting my skull.
I think my favorite part was being shown a piece of super-cool concept art that had me going "wow, that would be awesome, blah blah blah." Then 15 minutes later, with no fanfare, they showed me that it's actually already in the game. Totally stellar.
best,
Seth

Alone in the Dark preview
The new Alone in the Dark has been in development for at least three years, so whilst not quite stuck in development hell, it’s certainly taken longer than expected to be buffed and polished. The fact that we recently received a copy of the game to take for a spin is proof that the July release date is for real this time. But is the return of Edward Carnby worth celebrating? Is this a true re-birth for the series? Will we ever forget the horrid Uwe Boll movie?

Mario Kart Wii Wired recenzija
As ever, Mario Kart racing is as much about navigating the crazy tracks (of which the Wii version has an astonishing 32) as it is about collecting the items that lay about the track and using them on your opponents to screw up their driving. Also as ever, if you are a skilled racer and sail into first place, you'll never get any good items -- just some measly shells and banana peels. Drivers who end up in the back will get all kinds of crazy stuff, allowing them to plow through other players and catch up to the pack.
