Super Paper Mario - review

Having spent so long with the game's manipulation of 2D and 3D, as I stare at the screen to write this I see it as a flat background, and one that when flipped, would reveal hidden treasures between the words I'm typing, and display secret passages behind the save button. Mario, you see, has to travel to a town between dimensions, Flipside, from which many other dimensions can be accessed. And of course this is all essentially a pun on the visual dimension changes

Super Paper Mario - N-Europe review

In the Paper Mario universe, players take control of the titular hero in a world that is almost totally played in the second dimension. This game adds a unique twist by allowing Mario to enter the third dimension to solve puzzles, find hitherto hidden pathways and secret passages. Amusingly, baddies can be easily avoided in this plane as they are mostly two dimensional themselves. Some exist in this dimension as well as the 2D so care has to be taken when “flipping” between the two. Also of note is that Mario can only spend a limited time in this pseudo third dimension before his health starts to decline, making every exploratory journey a calculated risk for the player.

Ako hocete da pokrenete SPM na PAL konzoli automatski se pokrece "system update" i pocinje da skida update za NTSC konzolu i vi ostajete sa spaljenom konzolom.Sledite ova uputstva i sve ce biti u redu.

- turn on your wii without a game disc in
- perform a system update and follow it until the system reboots
- perform system updates until you get a message telling you there are no more updates available.
- boot up your wii then insert the game disc
- when you go into the disc channel, you will be asked to perform an update
- make sure your internet connection is available then click OK to perform the update
- once your wii reboots, you can play this awesome game!

...Super Paper Mario does something really interesting with your score. While scores have been kept in games for over 20 years now, they never really meant anything other than bragging rights. We see this alive and well today with Microsoft’s Xbox Live Gamerscore. Super Paper Mario gives you a reason to get a higher score. Once again taking a cue from the Paper Mario series, you are able to level up your character. Mario and friends can get a higher attack level, as well as more health overall. The way to add to these levels is through your score. The more enemies you jump on/attack, the more points added to your score. If you look at your menu, you will see how many points you need before you reach your next level up. Once you hit that score, you are met with fanfare and a message as to what’s been upgraded...

...You begin the game with Mario, but later pick up more party members, including Peach and Bowser, all of whom possess unique strengths and weaknesses. Mario is the quickest on his feet, can jump the highest, and is the only character able to switch between the second and third dimension. Peach, on the other hand, can float effortlessly across chasms that nobody else can traverse and Bowser can breathe fire at enemies for easy take-downs. They're all fun to play for different reasons and you can easily rotate between the mascots at any point simply by pressing the 1 and 2 buttons together and accessing the character menu, which is a plus since there are some well-designed puzzles that require you to use two or more of the heroes to continue forward...
