Spore - preview i trailer

Ushering life from primordial soup to intergalactic colonization: the ambitious scope of Spore is enough to generate a great deal of good will. It’s easy to feel excited by the potential diversity of play offered by the game’s five distinct sections – survival at the cellular level; exploration as a larger, land-dwelling creature; creation and expansion of a tribe; diplomacy and war as a civilization; and, finally, space travel and terraforming of new worlds. Equally, such scope gives pause: could it not easily be that this diversity comes at the expense of depth? Will Spore really amount to the sum of its parts?

Zack & Wiki - AMN review

When we first started playing Zack & Wiki, we found ourselves instantly liking the adventure. There's something undeniably fun and enthralling about this point-and-click adventure. The level design and puzzle design are sweetly wrapped together, creating a wholly entertaining experience. The controls, meanwhile, define Zack & Wiki. Nintendo made the Wii-mote so we could play console games like it. Furthermore, the adventure is thoroughly satisfying, thanks to its challenging difficulty level. That said, the difficulty could be a turn off for those that can't cope. It's not an easy game. Still, we love.

Metroid Prime 3 - Corruption - N-europe review

This game is beyond any shadow of a doubt the best game in the whole of the Metroid series bar none, but I say that with a touch of sadness as Retro apparently have no plans to continue working on the project. Which is a massive shame as they finally seem to have nailed the formula for making Prime great. Time and sales will tell whether or not the studio can be tempted back into making the games, but for the time being Metroid Prime 3 is the best reason to own a Wii if you are into games that you can play on your own. At almost every turn you will find something new – a clever puzzle, a graphical quirk that will leave you staring for a moment or simply something you never saw before. Sure, once it’s over you won’t be coming back again for a month or so, but while it’s happening, it’s the best ride you’ll go on for a long, long time.

Šta čekate, nabavite ovu igru odmah i spasite svet zlih Space Pirate-a.

Will Wright intervju

What games do you play? And do you play for fun or research?

I try to play innovative games that are coming out – I really love Guitar Hero, I play my Nintendo DS a lot, check out things on the Wii. With the exception of Advance Wars on my DS, there's no one game that I spend a huge amount of time playing. I love Advance Wars – I used to play all these strategy games as a kid… Panzer Blitz, and all these old Avalon Hill games.

Somebody asked me what I thought next generation meant and what about the PlayStation 3 was next generation. The only next gen system I've seen is the Wii – the PS3 and the Xbox 360 feel like better versions of the last, but pretty much the same game with incremental improvement. Bu tht eWii feels like a major jump – not that the graphics are more powerful, but that it hits a completely different demographic. In some sense I see the Wii as the most significant thing that's happened, at least on the console side, in quite a while.

SEGA GETS SHAKIN’ WITH SAMBA DE AMIGO

LONDON & SAN FRANCISCO (October 25 2007) - SEGA of America, Inc. and SEGA Europe Ltd. are excited to announce that they are bringing back Samba De Amigo, the Dreamcast classic that helped to create the now-popular rhythm music genre. Created exclusively for the Wii home video game system, this vibrant and addictive new game lets players shake to the beats of a samba-infused soundtrack comprised of popular new songs as well as fan-favorites from the original game.

Playing as the grinning, sombrero-topped monkey, Amigo, players shake the Wii Remote and Nunchuk like maracas, in time with the visual beats of the music on-screen. The perfect party game, Samba De Amigo is packed with lively stages and a host of colorful characters. More details about this exciting new title including a full song listing as well as new special features will be revealed over the next few months.

“The Wii’s controllers enable players to enjoy Samba De Amigo’s unique gameplay without having to purchase an expensive peripheral,” said Rick Naylor, Director of Marketing at SEGA. “Between the music, the quirky art style, and the maraca-shaking players, Samba De Amigo is as much fun to watch as it is to play.”

Developed by acclaimed developer, Gearbox Software, Samba De Amigo will be exclusively available for the Wii in spring 2008. For more information, please visit www.sega.com.

Metroid Prime 3 - Corruption - EG review

Where Corruption really progresses over and above the previous games in the series is the sublime implementation of the Wii controls. By giving over the targeting to the Wii remote, you're afforded mouse-like targeting precision during combat, with strafing, forward and backward movements assigned to the Nunchuk. Admittedly there is a small learning curve before you'll become truly comfortable (or proficient) with the new control system, but it helps no end by the ability to lock-on to target with the Z button.

Soul Calibur - Legends - preview

It doesn't all play out as fluidly as the Soul Calibur fighting games at this point, and perhaps that's an unfair comparison because of the genre shift, but we're hoping that as we spend more time with the game and learn more maneuvers, everything will start to flow a bit better. Head over to our videos page to check out new footage of the game.

Zack & Wiki Quest for Barbaros Treasure - 1up review

This is most certainly not just a kids' game, and it'll be far too hard for most children to play alone. It's a great game for parents to play with their kids, though, and equally so for pairs of adults (another issue for kids is that -- despite its "E" rating -- it can be a downright creepy game at times, and it's oddly morbid watching Zack get impaled on spikes or Wiki freeze to death after a misstep). Some levels take a solid hour or two of perseverance, head-scratching, and eventual bouts of trial-and-error to crack. When you finally know the solution and go through it in a single run, it's rarely more than a 10-minute task, but that just speaks to the brilliant puzzle design.

Indianapolis 500 Legends Hands-On

Indianapolis 500 Legends seeks to capture Indy 500 races from 1961 and 1971, a decade that saw some big changes at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and plenty of classic races. As far as we can tell, you'll only be racing at Indy in this--which we suppose makes sense--but some of the small details in the track seem to be accurate. For example, in the game, the 1961 track features a long line of bricks on the front straight, while the 1962 track is configured so that that long stretch is paved over with asphalt except for the three-foot wide stretch at the start/finish line that we still see today, which is historically accurate. In addition, the car models change from year to year to reflect the continuous car development that occurred during that 10-year stretch of races.

Super Mario Galaxy - demo impresije

Od danas je skoro u svakoj games* prodavnici u Americi postavljen demo igre Super Mario Galaxy.Ovo je samo jedno od mišljenja ljudi koji su probali demo u prodavnici.

god it's the type of game when you play, you want to wake people up just to tell them you did because it's revelatory. It's like you can FEEL the paradigm shifting under your feet when you play this, as if all Iwata's claims were proved true in an instant and the sound of a million doubters fell silent.

I am guys, you know, a HUGE Nintendo critic lately. I don't like the direction they've taken for various reasons, and I let myself be known on this issue. Everywhere. And I can say, in genuine, from the hour or so I kept coming back to the demo, that this was worth the price of Wii. I would pay $399.99 to play this.

It is almost like... jesus... it's like all those non-games were just tons and tons of crumbling rock plugging up some mighty volcano, and it all came undone with Mario Galaxy. The giant moved and swayed, melting faces in its wake. I am prone to hyperbole. I can assure you, nothing I can say will prepare.

My words may sounds hollow to some. Some more technical features: I thought wiimote would be at best a side step, as opposed to a step forward. It is comfortable, it works wonders, you do not need camera control at any moment (guys, they've designed a 3D platformer which requires NO CAMERA CONTROL EVER. Do you know what that alone indicates with the talent?). In short, it is better than traditional controls. For real. That's coming from me. Mario's momentum is just so perfectly honed that every little movement feels rewarding. You don't even have to do anything, you can just spin Mario around and around and you'll feel as giddy as a f***ing schoolchild.

This game? It LOOKS like a 360 game, save resolution. Yes, they actually did do it. Anybody tries to post LAUGHING SMILIES at this proposition, poke them in the eye with your dick. They're laughing out of fear. They've actually done it here. ANYONE on GAF that denies the visual pleasure unfolding here is a bullshit artist and a troll. Yes, 360 can obviously do better but here is a Wii game that looks as good, and you won't even once remotely think 'oh hey if only that goomba had bump maping.'

God the design. The f***ing LEVEL design. I played much of what we've seen in early videos of this game, and even KNOWING what to expect did not truly explain what the experience is like. Here is a product that essentially shits on all other developers from the top of some unreachable mountain top. I love Ratchet, I love Sunshine. I love platformers. So why is it that this game seems to open a door that makes me almost embarrassed to have ever lauded them? FROM AN HOUR OF PLAY.

Oh God I think I'm turning back into a Nintendo fanboy... but it's such pure joy, really encapsulate the very reason I began to play games. I feel like a new

Zack & Wiki Quest for Barbaros Treasure - gamespot review

On top of good control, Zack & Wiki's puzzle designs are fiendishly clever, and in a very deceptive way. Early on the game is a breeze, and you might find yourself worried that all you've got coming is a bunch of short puzzles in teensy levels. The good news is that things don't stay brief and easy for long. Though the level designs never grow very big, the methodology for solving each stage's tricky puzzles is rarely in plain sight, and a good bit of experimentation and problem-solving skill is required, especially in the game's devilish later levels.

Još malo hvalospeva za Zacka u njegovoj potrazi za Barbarosinim zlatom.

Link's Crossbow Training - preview

If you bought Wii Play for the extra controller, you may have found the target shooting challenge in the game to be one of the more alluring distractions. Link's Crossbow Training, the game to be included with the Wii Zapper accessory, is essentially a grand expansion of the Wii Play shooting game that's set in the Zelda: Twilight Princess universe. It does have some more interesting things to do, though.

Crash of the Titans - review

A solid but predictable setup gives way to some solid but predictable platforming action. Although it's not as microscopically focused as the first three Crash games, the path you walk in Crash of the Titans is still pretty narrow. In terms of volume, there's not a great deal of actual platforming here nor is it terribly challenging, but a physics system that causes platforms to wobble precariously at least makes it interesting.

Zack & Wiki Quest for Barbaros Treasure - IGN review (9/10)

z_w_wii_pkf_090707

Zack & Wiki: Quest for Barbaros' Treasure is a dumb name, plain and simple, but don't let that (or the game's seemingly "too kiddie" exterior) deter you from picking it up because this is one of Wii's very best offerings. Not only is it beautiful, taking visual cues from Wind Waker, but it's really clever and equally rewarding. When you solve one of the game's booby-trapped levels, you will absolutely feel like you've accomplished a genuine feat.

Jedna od najboljih third-party igrica za Wii ove godine.Nemojte da vas zavara kiddy look igra je veoma teška.

Excite Truck - N-Sider review

Excite Truck would be quite accurately classified as a veteran entry in Wii's lineup today, but I felt it was worth calling attention to, especially considering how long we've been continuing to play it and in light of the number of people I still encounter who wrote it off many months ago and never came back. I believe these people have done themselves a disservice; Excite Truck is a game that deserves their playtime, and will reward them in spades.

Obavezno probajte Excite Truck, i nemojte prerano odustati jer je ovo jedna od boljih Wii igrica.
